AIKMAN RATINGS & COMMENTARY
thru Week 10
The Texans have moved to the top in the Aikman Combined Ratings through Week 10, bolstered by a schedule that has seen them play only one game against a team in the top 10 (a loss to Baltimore).
For those thinking the undefeated Packers should be first, we note that the sum of their offensive and defensive ratings (4+28=32) would rank them 13th overall. The Aikman Ratings have them with the best offense in the league and 16th-best defense.

Green Bay has indeed opened up a solid 4.1-point lead over New England and New Orleans in Aikman Offense.
The Ravens continue to lead in Aikman Defense.

At the bottom of the Aikman Combined, the Colts have fallen 10.8 points behind #31 St. Louis. Put another way, there are six teams closer at the top to the Texans than the Colts are to getting out of the basement.
